This is a little bit of an unusual post.  But hang in there with me for a few minutes.

Yesterday I said goodbye to my very first car. A bright blue 1997 Mazda Protege. "Blue" (as my family refers to her) Was purchased in 1998 when I was 17. Blue is the car I drove away to college in, the car I took when I moved to DC for my first job, the car my husband and I drove from FL to NC after our wedding with the words "just married" written across the back window. So many memories from the last 14 years. Its like my dad has said "the longer I have a car the more I like it." She has been a great car, so I decided to go with Mazda again.

Mr. V and I went to Cory Fairbanks Mazda in Orlando, yesterday and picked up my new Mazda.  A few tears were shed for blue (I also cried 3 weeks before when we went car shopping) but I am very excited about my new car and the new adventures that await us.
