Last year on my birthday I decided to challenge myself to a 365 day project, with the hope of looking back a year later and seeing how much I've learned and how my shooting style has evolved.  I don't think I realized what a commitment this would really be.  Some days it just hasn't been possible to take a photo, so instead of beating myself up, I just make it up the next day. It has stretched my creativity to come up with something "new", and has encouraged me to try shooting at different times of day to play with lighting.  I'm into the 300's now and the end is in sight,  here are a few things Ive learned...

.Morning light is my favorite (though I am in no way a morning person and rarely see mentioned best lighting)

.A wireless remote has been the best investment

.My dog somehow found her way in the background of so many of the pictures

.My Mr. is a good sport when I ask him to pose for pictures

.My Neighbors probably wonder what in the world I'm doing out in the neighborhood with my tripod and remote

.Some times the best shots are the ones you don't even expect to turn out.

.I have to take 10-20 shots of one thing till I get one I Like or is.

.Its a leap year...which means its really a 366 day project!
