Japan part 2.  After a few days in Tokyo we ventured outside the city on a few day trips. Kamakura, Japan where we hiked and visited numerous shrines tucked away in the mountains and Yokohama, Japan where we visited the Ramen museum :) 

One of the interesting things about Japan is that there are drink vending machines everywhere and I mean everywhere, on almost every street corner. You will never go thrirsty in Japan.  We looked up the statistics and I believe the ratio is 1 vending machine per every 22 people in Japan....that's a lot of vending machines.  Also at the very bottom check out some of our favorite snack finds.  My husband couldn't get enough of the pure gummy candies and I had a habit of buying a Crunky bar every day (like a crunch bar but more crispy rice)
