The last weekend in August I traveled up to North Carolina to celebrate and photograph my friend Katie's wedding.  She is my childhood BFF, we did everything together and begged our parents to let us have sleepovers at least once a week. Katie and Chris got engaged in May and decided to plan a wedding in just a few months (my engagement was 6 months and I thought that was short) I flew up to Raleigh a few days before the wedding and got to do a little pre-wedding/engagement shoot with Katie and Chris.  We decided to do it at the North Carolina Museum of Art. It rained most of the day and we almost canceled a couple of times and then just an hour before our shoot it stopped raining.  The result was a gorgeous and dramatic sunset!  The wedding was gorgeous/wonderful/fun but Ill post about that some other time.

we came across a little frog and Katie let me borrow her ring really quick. 

My sister was gracious enough to come with me and help me with my lighting.  I couldn't have done it without her.
