A few months back I found out that Mr. V had never been to NYC! (What!?!)  So I made it my mission to plan a trip. When I used to live in DC, I would take the china town to china town bus for the weekend and have so many great memories of those trips.

It's always nice to get away for a few days and as a photographer it really helps revive your creativity by being somewhere visually different. A friend loaned me some specialty lenses, Tilt shift, Ultra Wide and a Fish eye, and let me tell you those suckers are heavy!  So I took just one with me each day and committed to what ever it was. We walked until our feet hurt, tried lots of yummy food, visited friends, celebrated my 31st Birthday and enjoyed just being together.  I Love the energy of big cities, if you have never been to NYC I would highly recommend it.
